The Whyte 146 X full suspension XC mountain bike 2012 has all the trail taming attributes needed to demolish the local DH trail or the steepest of trail centre runs, then spin you right back up to the top again! With 11-36 10 speed rear cassette and single chain ring with lightweight chain device this is one XC bike that really means business.

Working in collaboration with Fox, Whyte have given the 146 X a kashima coated RP23 rear shock which exploits the all-new XV2 sleeve to really give this Whyte bike a 'bottomless' feel. Doing the work at the front end is an outstanding taper steerer tubed Kashima Float 150 “Factory” spec fork with FIT damper. The monocoque frame is incredibly lightweight as well as amazingly rigid, combine this with a stripped off raw carbon finish and Whyte have delivered a do-anything trail bike that weighs in at a feather light 10.9kg (medium size, without pedals).

Added to this already superb technical spec, this Whyte XC bike also features Avid Elixir XX World Cup brakeset to give you all the precision and stopping power you need, while Shimano componentry is as solid and reliable as ever. Finishing off this superb mountain bike, Whyte have combined the Maxxis Ardent tyre at the front with Maxxis Crossmark at the rear for a winning team of phenomenal traction as well as speed.
